And the journey begins.

Building my website and writing on my blog often takes me back to the memories of my dear mentor, Jose Antonio Campaña. There is hardly a day or a moment that passes without thoughts of him filling my mind. I find myself laughing, shedding tears of fondness, and, above all, feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was around three years ago when I was sitting by the dining room table, lost in thoughts of him. I remember him saying those words that still resonate within me: "You have what you have, and it is time to accept it. Pack your suitcase and help." I recall the shock on my face at that moment. What was he saying? Just pack my bag and help?
Later that afternoon, after finishing my lunch, I reached out to a friend, inquiring about Jose Antonio and when he would be returning to Mallorca. It was then that my friend immediately informed me of his passing, assuming I already knew. I didn't inquire about the details of how and when it happened, as I wanted to hold on to the cherished memories I had of him and respect his disdain for fuss.
My journey with Jose Antonio began in 2008, during a phase of my life when self-doubt crept in, questioning my choices and the direction I was heading. Two years prior, a seven-year relationship had ended in a foreign country far from home, and the voices of uncertainty had resurfaced. Despite my mother's urging to return home, something deep within me insisted I stay. In my search for guidance, I stumbled upon someone who knew Jose Antonio and graciously provided me with the telephone number of the person organizing his events. Without hesitation, as soon as I returned home, I contacted the event coordinator and eagerly signed up.
As I walked into the conference room on that day, I positioned myself close to the door, my knees trembling with nervousness, curiosity, and a sense of unease. However, the moment Jose Antonio entered the room, I instantly felt a wave of protection washing over me. My eyes were fixated on him as he introduced himself and began speaking naturally, despite the wild thoughts of fear concocted by my mind. In that moment, I chose to trust the voice of guidance that urged me to be there.
It was during my second session with Jose Antonio that I heard a gentle voice speaking with indescribable kindness, unveiling the path I was meant to follow and how I could contribute to the lives of others. Yet, I couldn't help but feel unworthy, my body trembling with this new and unfamiliar vibration that was overflowing within me. Once the session concluded, I stepped outside to inhale the fresh air, trying to absorb everything I had just experienced. To my surprise, Jose Antonio silently followed me and stood before me, asking a simple yet profound question, "Do you know what you're meant to do?" Without hesitation, I answered, "Help others!" His proud smile mirrored his approval, and he said, "I will help you. Come to my house, where I will teach a workshop."
Little did I know that this encounter would mark the beginning of my inner journey. Whenever Jose Antonio visited Mallorca, I made it a point to see him. Every time, I would dissolve into his fatherly embrace, feeling like a child once again. Tears would well up in my eyes, and with a whisper of gratitude, I would say, "Thank you. I will always be grateful."
There are extraordinary individuals in this world who possess the gift of being like locksmiths, opening doors and guiding souls towards a realm of endless possibilities. Jose Antonio was one of those remarkable individuals who did just that for me.
Jose Antonio, I know you can hear me. I want you to know I can still hear your voice and the words. " PACK YOUR BAG AND HELP."
Thank you from the depths of my heart!
